The Mirror

There is a longstanding belief that mirrors serve as portals to another realm. Some people also think that mirrors harbor a world inhabited by malevolent spirits. Such superstitions have inspired ancient folklore about hauntings and possessions. In 2012, a story about a supposedly cursed mirror caught the media’s attention. Both the Daily Mail and Huffington Post covered how the new owners of an antique mirror experienced a string of misfortunes, financial troubles, eerie apparitions, and life-threatening illnesses. Now, writer and director Edward Boase has adapted this chilling tale into a film featuring Jemma Dallender (known for “I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE 2”), Joshua Dickinson, and Nate Fallows (“Whitechapel”). They play roommates who purchase the same ominous antique on eBay and set up continuous surveillance in hopes of capturing paranormal activity. Consider yourself warned!
