Set against the backdrop of 1985, during the climactic end of the Cold War, Sandy and her colleague Jeanne Vertefeuille are determined to unmask the mole who would become infamous as the most notorious traitor in American history, Aldrich Ames. Sandy is in a desperate race to protect Soviet intelligence agents from capture and execution.
