Le noir (te) vous va si bien
The narrative follows a Middle-Eastern immigrant family living in Europe. The father bears the weight of exile, feeling a deep obligation to preserve his cultural heritage and traditions, staying true to his roots and identity. His daughter, now an adult, is a source of concern for him as he hopes she will marry soon. Each morning, she leaves home and changes her attire at a bar before heading to work, letting her hair down. Her behavior intrigues her young boss, who has fallen for her and is willing to do anything to win her hand in marriage. However, she values her autonomy, much like her mother did when she chose her father. Before she can introduce the man she loves to her parents, a friend of her father’s spots them together in a café.
