Ironweed

Set during the Great Depression, this film follows the poignant journey of Francis Phelan, a former baseball player turned drifter, as he returns to his hometown of Albany, New York. Haunted by his past and grappling with guilt, Francis reconnects with his estranged family and encounters fellow drifter Helen Archer, portrayed by Meryl Streep.
