Fulboy

On the brink of realizing his dream career, Tomás grants his older brother, Martin Farina, an intimate glimpse into his life as a professional soccer player. Martin, who never achieved his own aspiration of playing soccer, enters Tomás’s world and that of his teammates through his camera lens. However, the rest of the team has mixed feelings, with some seeing Martin as an intruder as he reveals their most vulnerable moments and their anxieties about life after their sports careers. “Fulboy” provides an unfiltered, candid look at how these athletes, who play the world’s most beloved sport, conduct themselves off the field. Simultaneously, the film examines Farina’s artistic decisions and perspective, as well as the audience’s perception of the male physique.
