Camp Nowhere
In this 1994 comedy, a group of kids, led by the clever Morris “Mud” Himmel, concoct a plan to create their own summer camp without any adult supervision. They enlist the help of a former drama teacher, Dennis Van Welker, played by Christopher Lloyd, to pose as the camp’s director. The film explores themes of independence and creativity as the kids enjoy their newfound freedom. While it didn’t receive any major awards, it features a young Jessica Alba in one of her early roles.
