In 1886, Irish siblings Mary and Tom, who have lost their parents, arrive in New York City by ocean liner. They soon embark on an adventurous journey across the country on a transcontinental “Orphan Train,” where they encounter an exceptional new companion who will have a profound impact on their lives.
