Atatürk II 1881 – 1919

After establishing his reputation in 1915 at the Gallipoli front, Mustafa Kemal embarked on a significant journey. He would later engage in crucial battles on the eastern front against Russian forces and subsequently against the British in Syria. Remarkably, he emerged as the sole Ottoman officer who did not suffer a defeat during World War I. Yet, despite his numerous victories, he faced an unforeseen obstacle upon his return to Istanbul.
