In 1965, while rock music is revolutionizing the globe, New Zealand remains untouched by its influence. A young journalist, aged 23, is on a mission to challenge the government’s control over broadcasting. His goal is to introduce rock ‘n’ roll to the youth, all while maintaining his relationship with the woman he cherishes.
